Originally from around the Kansas City area, I had a mixed upbringing between city and farm life. I am no stranger to firearms as I was taught at a very young age how to respect and operate them. I am also no stranger to helping people. I am an Eagle Scout and I spent much of my teenage years volunteering and supporting the community. This followed me into the Military and is likely the reason I retired after almost 21 years of service. Through my career I was a paratrooper, armorer and skilled senior communications sergeant within Special Operations. I received numerous awards but most notably a Bronze Star w/valor and Purple Heart. It was during one of my numerous deployments that the name “firewall” was born. My team and I were protecting an important family and were getting overrun. We had to call in a Danger Close air support. A-10 Warthogs came to our aid and provided a literal wall of fire that allowed for a successful mission. Now when I returned to the U.S. and retired, I noticed a very targeted attack on firearms. So much, that I start researching and decided that the problem is not the tool (firearms) but rather a severe gap in training and education. So I started my company with the sole intent of bringing training/education into the 21st century. Thus, Firewall Armory was created. But I want to go farther, I want to return to the basics on why we have the freedoms we do and what the consequences are if we lose sight of them. This takes a community effort to achieve. Which is why, we are so focuses on it. If everyone gets on the same page, we can start working on the real problems surrounding firearms and the misuse of them. In order for me to become an expert within the industry, I had to take my military experience and add to it degrees in management and Firearms Technology. Once this was accomplished, I built my team. Three of the four founders are veterans with expert knowledge in firearms and training. Luckily I was able to bring on a woman’s perspective to help us make sure that we are catering to all. It is my believe that it only take one person to make a change that betters people and the planet. We are geared up to be that change. Welcome to the Firewall Armor family!

My passion lies in guiding those with limited experience to gain a solid understanding of weapons handling, so they feel prepared and empowered for any situation that may arise.
I was born and raised in Colorado , for the last 15 years I have been at various levels of management. I have been looking for an earnest mission. When firewall armory reached out and I saw a company that had a real purpose, it fit my search. The chance to be part of a change to gun culture and foster in a new community based on safety and respect for the tool. My experience for teaching, training and simplifying procedures will bring a new outlook to how we train and teach gun fundamentals. With my management experience together we can lead the charge to create actual change in our community and even the nation to foster in a new level of safety for my son .
